Grouplove's "Welcome To Your Life" Review

Grouplove is an American indie rock band formed back in 2009. The group is composed of Hannah Hooper, Christian Zucconi, Sean Gadd, Andrew Wessen, and Ryan Rabin.
The band has recently released their junior album, Big Mess, which contains the lead single, “Welcome To Your Life.” When listening to this particular song, I felt it had many different vibes ranging from uplifting to atmospheric. That is what the song is, atmospheric, especially the chorus. The song also had very interesting lyrics. For example, “Welcome to to your world, my girl. Let it be your fantasy, oh yeah.” This song is dedicated to band members, Hannah Hooper & Christian Zucconi’s, daughter. They are welcoming their daughter to her life and saying even though the world is a big mess, she should make the most of it.
This song has one of those feelings that one cannot truly express - but rather you have to hear it to feel it. This track is well-written and optimistic, not to mention the meaning of the song, which most people miss. It's a beautiful one, one that I will be listening to for a while.
